Camel Trail and estuary

The Camel Trail is only 5 minutes by cycle, a sixteen mile combined walk and cycle track alongside the River Camel created from the route of the Old Atlantic Coast Express — once quoted by Betjeman as ‘the best journey in England’ — where it is still easy to imagine steam-hauled trains slowly curving their way through the valley.

Why not cycle to Padstow and enjoy fish and chips at Rick Stein’s takeaway fish and chip shop, or any the other fabulous resturaunts or simply browse around the many wonderful gift shops in the town.

There various centres for hiring bikes. Wadebridge – Bridge Bike Hire 01208 813050 or Padstow – Padstow Cycle Hire 01841 533533 both hire Adult & Childrens Bikes, tag-a-longs and trailers.
