In light of recent events, our 2021 event will take place in July and will be held over three days to enable us to offer enhanced social distancing, manage show-goer flow-through and regulate daily attendance numbers in line with UK Government guidance and Cornwall Council’s advice.
Just 15 minutes from Ruthern Valley.
A dedicated Growing the Future space will focus on the ways in which we can all protect and enhance our natural environment. Participating organisations will offer a range of activities for children and families that will educate and inspire us all, with themes including wild nature and how we can make our domestic gardens more environmentally friendly. Children Focused. The Cornwall Garden Society has been developing a growing emphasis on gardening for children to help develop the next generation of horticultural experts.
The Cornwall Garden Society and its show committee naturally take Covid-19, and the risk and complexities that the Coronavirus has brought to all large-scale events, very seriously. Show-goer flow-through and attendance numbers will be carefully managed. Social distancing will be our guiding principle and the safety of all participants our watchword. We will ensure that the 2021 show is planned and implemented in compliance with UK Government policy and guidance at the time of the Show’s delivery, and in line with localised advice from Cornwall Council who issue our event licence. For further information about the specific measures we will be taking to ensure the safety of Exhibitors, Traders, Volunteers and Visitors, please re-visit this section of the website nearer the time.
