When the residents of Cotehele first hung a modest, floral, Christmas display in the hall six decades ago, little did they know how their simple decoration would turn into the magnificent and famous tradition it is today.
The gardeners will make the 100ft dried flower garland in the hall of the house from 31October – 10 November, and then it will hang from 10 November – 6 January (closed 25-26 December). All of the flowers (20,000-35,000 depending on the growing season) are grown and dried on the estate and you’re welcome in the hall to watch the gardeners build it and return to admire their completed masterpiece. Normal admission charges apply.

Garland on display: daily from 10 November until 6 January (except 25 & 26 December), 10.30am-4pm.
28 November – 2nd December. Hand crafted wall hangings, jigsaw puzzles, candles, pottery, calendars, clothing, treasure trails for the children, hand made chocolates, preserves and local ales are just some of the goods whichwill be available this year. Just under a hundred of the finest local artisans, artists and food and drink producers will be exhibiting at the highly acclaimed annual fair.

Throughout the town centre with festive activities. Extensive collection of handmade, locally produced gifts, arts and craft as well as some of the regions finest locally produced food and beverages.
1st – 2nd December 2018. Helston TR13 0QA. The Fayre will be brimming with local gifts and goodies – a host of fantastic stalls with affordable high-quality products, food and drink. Stalls can be found in various venues within the park, including the Entertainment Venue, the Cafe area, the Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz where you can wander around the stunning exhibitions.
1 – 23 Dec 2018. The Bedruthan Hotel, Mawgan Porth TR8 4BU. Find an elf to give you the directions that you need to get to the Sugar and Spice Grotto where you will help Father Christmas and Mrs Christmas to search for presents that have fallen out of the sleigh – there may even be one for you. Slots are every half an hour and the grotto experience is approximately an hour long.
